The Caribbean Association of Memphis (CAM) has been in existence as a non-profit organization since 2008. It has elected officers, events committee and registered members representing the many Caribbean Nationals. It has established By Laws and a Mission Statement.  The CAM membership is aware of the need for an organization that is both representative of the Caribbean community and educational to the Greater Memphis Area  The organization is striving to make itself better known to the growing Caribbean population. The better people know one another, the better they are able to relate to one another.

 A united community is a stronger, more productive one.  CAM will be extending its functions in the near future through advertisements and marketing venues both private and public. Through our quarterly news letter "CAM News and Updates", we are offering businesses, private organizations and individuals the opportunity to announce or show case their services and events to our members, families, friend and the unique Caribbean community.  The organizations we are proposin to be associated with include but not limited to are:

•   Cultural Centers (Museums, Theaters and Art Centers)
•   Farmers Markets
•   FedEx
•   Local Restaurants
•   Local Churches, Synagogues, Mosques
•   Memphis City Civic Center
•   Memphis City Government
•   Memphis City Schools
•   Shelby County Schools
•   Radio and Television Stations
•   Recreational Centers and Parks
•   Shelby County Government
•   The Commercial Appeals
•   Morgan Keegan
•   The Medical Institutions in the Greater Memphis Area
•   Memphis Red Birds
•   The University of Memphis and other institutions of higher learning

   The Caribbean Association of Memphis is prepared as a non-profit organization to receive financial support from individuals as well as public and private organizations.  The financial support will enable our organization to expand and sustain our projects and goals. The benefits to prospective supporters is outlined as follows:

•   The knowledge that their support is goingto a worthy community based cause
•   Supporters regardless of their level of support are afforded a tax write-off for their participation
•   Supporters are invited to participate as guests and vendors at any functions sponsored by CAM
•   Supporters are supplied with timely documentation as to when and how their support is utilized. The time schedule for presentation of documentation will be determined by a signed agreement between CAM and its supporters.

 Avenues and information for verification of documentation will include but not limited to bank statements, reciepts and notary public.  CAM is highly appreciative of any and all support rendered. We thank you in advance for becoming a participating supporter of our missions and efforts.
